Andrea Cornwall

Andrea Cornwall is a fellow of the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, UK. A social anthropologist by training, she has been involved with PRA since the early 1990s. The Pathways to Participation project, which she directed, grew out of a long-standing interest in fostering critical reflection on the practice of participatory approaches. Her current interests include the history and ethnography of participation in development, and the politics of citizen participation in governance.
